uSINE
ULTRASOUND-GUIDED SPINAL LANDMARK
IDENTIFICATION WITH NEEDLE NAVIGATION SYSTEM
STEP 1: Anesthetist uses an ultrasound probe to scan the spine, starting from the sacrum and slowly moving upwards. uSINE’s machine learning algorithm identifies anatomical landmarks to find the correct position and alerts anesthetists.
STEP 2: Anesthetist shifts the ultrasound probe left/right/up/down to find the right angle. uSINE alerts anesthetist when the right angle is found.
